It's official! After much high level discussion and debate the CBI judges have now selected the winner of this year's "name the dinosaur" competition.

We received oodles of fantastic entries (most ranging from silly to just plain bonkers!) but in the end there was one moniker which we all agreed to be worthy of our dino mascot.

So, without further ado, we are very proud to announce that the new name of the 2009 CBF dinosaur is... JURESSICA!

Congratulations to Sarah Ward (14) from Virginia Vocational School, Co Cavan! Sarah has won a selection of top titles from this year's BookFest Recommended Reading Guide plus a €50 book token to purchase even more titles of her own choosing.

The prize also includes over €1000 worth of books for her school library, which her Principal will no doubt be absolutely delighted about!
