CBI is delighted to be a part of <a href="http://www.dublinbookfestival.com/" target="_self">Dublin Book Festival 2009</a>
, which takes place in City Hall, Dame Street from March 6th to March
8th. The festival will feature special event and workshops for both
children and adults.

CBI and Clé will host a special event focussed on Irish
publishing for children. Last November CBI and Clé held a forum to
discuss current issues in children’s book publishing in Ireland. The
forum identified many trends, threats and opportunities for children’s
publishing. CBI and Clé are now seeking to build on the work of the
forum and develop some agreed action points, which will help strengthen
the sector. As in November the discussion will be led by a panel and
contributions from the floor will be very warmly welcomed. More details
