![]() After two intense months of reading, reviewing, discussion and debate, we are delighted to announce the results of the Shadowing Scheme 2010 final vote... This year, there was no question over the young readers' favourite, with one title achieving over a third of top-place nominations! So without further a-do, here is the final Top Five rundown: ![]() 1st Place - Chalkline by Jane Mitchell (winner of the Bisto Children's Choice Award) ![]() 2nd Place - The Third Pig Detective Agency by Bob Burke ![]() 3rd Place -Colm and the Lazarus Key by Kieran Mark Crowley ![]() 4th Place – The Gates by John Connolly ![]() ![]() 5th Place (tied between) – The Eyeball Collector by F.E. Higgins and Solace of the Road by Siobhan Dowd Congratulations to Jane Mitchell and to the 100+ groups who took part this year in schools and libraries across the country! Undertaking so much extra work in such a short space of time is really something to be proud of! A big THANK YOU from all at CBI for making the scheme such a success, we hope that you found it an enjoyable and rewarding process.
