To mark the closing day of the exhibition Rivane Neuenschwander: A Day Like Any Other in the New Galleries, IMMA invites you to a literary afternoon for the whole family.

 1.00pm in the Chapel

Look, No Cows by Children’s Laureate Dr. Siobhán Parkinson

To launch IMMA’s newly commissioned tour for children, Siobhán Parkinson will read from her trail Look, No Cows which visits her favourite artworks from IMMA’s Collection in the museum grounds. Families and the general public are welcome, and the new trail is available free of charge.

2.00pm to 4.00pm in the New Galleries

IMMA’s regular Sunday family programme for children aged 4 to 10, will take place in the Rivane Neuenschwander exhibition. No booking required.

3.00pm in the Chapel

A Dramatic Reading from the Arabian Nights with Louis Lovett

The literary classic Arabian Nights is an important source of reference in Neuenschwander’s work. The stories, also known as One Thousand and One Nights, are a sprawling compilation of anonymous folk tales from the East.

Actor Louis Lovett will perform a dramatic reading.

To conclude the afternoon, you may wish to visit the Rivane Neuenschwander exhibition in the New Galleries for the last hour of viewing before it closes to the public for good.
